Things You Should Know
Do attorneys really care about me or my situation, or are they just interested in making money?
Attorneys are people too. As in any occupation, there are some people that care more than others. While we cannot speak for other law firms, we at the Gray Law Firm are proud of our hard-earned reputation of caring for our clients both in and out of the courtroom. We fully understand that each of our clients may be going through an extremely difficult and often painful situation that has led them to seek out a professional to help them. We take that responsibility very seriously and believe that part of our job is to help people in more that just the legal sense. We do our best to understand the hardships people are experiencing and genuinely care about helping people overcome their circumstances. We also believe that a genuinely caring attorney is an attorney that is more successful in getting their clients what they deserve.
What if I already have an attorney but he hardly ever contacts me or keeps me updated on the status of my case? Can I change attorneys?
At Gray Law Firm, we make it a point to let our clients know when the next scheduled contact or meeting date will be. We also tell all of our clients to call us anytime there is a change in their status such as medical condition or medication changes. We strongly believe in keeping the client informed with accurate information on a periodic basis, even if it is not always positive news. We don't encourage anyone to switch attorneys, but we understand that in some cases there may be a personality conflict or other issue that might cause someone to consider the possibility. In that case, we would be willing to sit down and discuss a client's specific situation.
